PERC has been working with local organizations on environmental and social justice issues since 1985. In 2017, PERC started working with the newly established Sustainable Eastern Ontario (SEO) to build networks and capacity amongst Ottawa-based non-profits. After SEO founded Sustainable Capacity Solutions (SCS) and its five social enterprises in 2021, they have continued that partnership to deliver those same results on a national scale.
Together, their collaboration with SCS continues to foster communication among small non-profits operating across Canada to amplify their voices and build capacity, while the foundation continues to inform Ottawa on community-driven initiatives nation-wide to promote environmental and social action in our local region.
